Gateway Hall Project

The next major building project on campus is the $70 million Gateway Hall, a $70 million, 120,000 square foot cross-divisional facility. The building will include 65,000 square feet of academic space that includes classrooms (600 seats) and faculty offices. Faculty are interested in how the design of these academic spaces reflects the institutional values and goals.

Senate is forming a Task Force on Gateway Hall to assist Planning, Design, & Construction group (PDC) in designing the instructional, learning, and faculty spaces in Gateway Hall.

See the 'feasibility study' (linked below) for more information about the Gateway Hall project.

North Precinct Study

The PDC had a series of meetings with stakeholders on the topic of planning for buildings on the north end of campus. The aim was to identify potential locations for the Early Childhood Development Center.

PDC has shared the following documents associated with the meetings:

  1. A summary of the sites on north campus: PDF
  2. Slides for presentation describing the study: PDF
  3. Summary notes from the meetings: PDF
